The Community Centre is run by a Charitable Trust for the benefit of everyone in the surrounding area. The Hall is available for a range of events, including:
Community Events organised by individuals or groups for the benefit of the whole community.
Commercial Hire for private usage by organisations providing commercial or statutory services.
Private Hire for parties and other closed social gatherings.
Cost
Current hire rates are £15/hr for Commercial and Private hire, and £6/hr for Community groups and non-profit events to which all in the local community are invited.
The hire costs are set at this level in order to help us cover some of the substantial costs of leasing, maintaining and operating the Community Centre. They are heavily subsidised by donations and fundraising events throughout the year.
The Centre is a charity which is run for community benefit, so if these costs represent a barrier to your using the Hall then please contact us and we will do our best to try and accommodate you if your usage has a benefit to the community.
